Activities of commerce club commence
on the day of interview on which students are admitted
to first B.Com class. A ‘help desk’
service is provided to guide the new comers and
their parents. |

On the first day of First B.Com class each year,
the students of the class along with their parents
/guardian will have to gather for two hours. The
session intends to cater to the needs of the students
regarding their future prospects. All the members
of the programme can clarify their doubts. All faculty
members of the department take part in the session.

A class to arouse the motivation of the newcomers
is proposed to be conducted within one month for
the new comers. |

A reading room for the commerce students is arranged
in front of the department. Leading news Papers
and periodicals in English and Malayalam along with
major periodicals on commerce subjects are kept
in the reading room. |

The club helps for the maintenance of the text
book library of the Department of Commerce. |

All general activities of the College will have
a ‘commerce touch’ with the active participation
of the members of the club. From the year of its
inception to date ,the Onam celebrations held before
the onam vacation have been notable with the active
participation of selected members in various competitive
items. |

meet of the Department is to be conducted with the
active supervision of commerce club members. |
